Scrimgeour People

I would like to expand this page, with pictures of members, particularly at Gatherings etc. Please send your pictures to me at the UK editor's address in the 1998 Skirmisher. Sending copies you do not need back saves postage, but we can return your pictures after scanning them if you prefer.

Andrew Scrimgeour (then in Paris, now in the USA?) (son to former Secretary Gavin Scrimgeour (Australia) with Tom Scrimgeour of Colchester (our Treasurer). Together at the Stade de France on 10 April 1999, just about to go and watch Scotland beat France. Given the sign behind them I hope that they were not wearing Skean Dhu. (I just checked the spelling, there are at least 4 different correct spellings!). Hip flasks might also cause trouble. Thanks to Gavin for the picture.

I hope is well with you and your family. I've finally done something that might be news worth (or at least something I could take a picture at worth sending your way) - I finally got married. So for your history books (electronic though they may be) let it be known that Robert James Scrimger son of James and Jean Scrimger of Kars, Ontario did on the 13th day of March in Hamilton Parish, Bermuda on a hill top overlooking the North Atlantic took Juudy Jamieson daughter of John and Jo Kolmer as my wife. Two photos for you from the wedding - in the one named Wedding.jpg is the Minister Michael Davis, my daughter Tawni Scrimger, Juudy, myself and my best man Francois Picard. The other photo is of my brother Tom Scrimger, his son Phillip and wife Danielle (his daughter Michelle couldn't attend.)

By the way I noticed as I grabbed your address from the web site that the gathering is coming up and we are thinking of attending it - perhaps we'll see you there.
